Meet Jess
Welcome! I'm Jess, I'm a massage therapist, hatha yoga and aerial fitness instructor. I am also a Classical Pilates Instructor in training.
I'm originally from Vermont USA, but I've lived in New Zealand at different times since I was 18. ( that's a long time ago)
I have two adult children, two dogs, I love to garden, and food is my love language.
I've created a clinic and outdoor studio at my home in Matatā, in the beautiful Bay of Plenty.
I'm so honoured and grateful that I can offer my lovely clients a little retreat from the daily stresses of the world, and a space where people can come to unwind, destress, release, move their bodies and have a good laugh.

Aerial yoga allows you to move and stretch your body in a completely new way, thanks to the weightlessness of being in an aerial hammock.
No matter your experience or ability, I offer a class that you'll enjoy.
1:1 or private group classes available, or join a class when it suits.

Hatha Yoga
My Hatha Mat classes offer a traditional yoga experience, including Asana (postures) pranayama (breathwork) and meditation. We will create a moving meditation through the flow of our breath with our movement. The intention of these classes is to create balance in the body and mind while cultivating an inner awareness.
Private classes and Group Classes available.

Pilates
Jess is currently studying to complete her Romana’s Pilates certification, training in the classical style on Joseph Pilates’ original equipment. As part of her practicum, private Pilates sessions are now available by request.
These sessions focus on alignment, strength, breath, and control on a range of traditional equiptment- offering a beautiful, body-aware way to build core stability and support your overall wellness journey.
